On behalf of Secretary of State Jesse White, I am pleased to let you know that the legislation that was generated from the Distracted Driving Task Force has been prefiled with the House of Representatives Journal Room. The legislation will be formally introduced on January 14, 2009, once the 96th General Assembly has been sworn in. To following the legislation as it tracks through the committee process you can visit the General Assembly website (after introduction on January 14th) located at www.ilga.gov.
